The objective is to collect seven notebooks and successfully escape the school, however, achieving this goal is far from easy. Players must familiarize themselves with the intricacies of the game in order to develop a winning strategy and avoid being apprehended by Baldi. Utilizing Baldi's friends to one's advantage, effectively managing the various items scattered throughout the school, and committing the layout of Baldi's establishment to memory are all crucial elements for achieving success.

The game provides two modes to choose from: story mode and endless mode.

• In story mode, players must collect seven notebooks and escape the school to secure victory. It's worth noting that the more notebooks collected, the faster Baldi will become. Although seemingly straightforward, this mode presents a significant challenge.
• In endless mode, the objective is to gather as many notebooks as possible before being apprehended by Baldi. As time progresses, Baldi's speed increases. However, each time a notebook is successfully completed, his pace slows down. The longer one can keep his speed at bay, the greater the number of notebooks that can be obtained.

This version of the game is an official port of the original, meticulously adapted for touch screen controls. Players can easily customize these controls according to their preferences by exploring the options menu.
